Meanwhile, Frank sat staring. Trying to figure the one thing out that had been bothering him since he had met Ray all those years ago.
What is in that 'fro?
He picked up a piece of notebook paper and scrawled out a quick note to Mikey, who was sitting on the opposite side of the couch that he sat.

He crumpled up the paper and threw it at the younger Way brother, who quickly read it, replied, and returned the paper.
You know, his AFro! But really, what do you think is in it?
I don't know. Maybe his beers? We all know you like to steal his, so maybe he decided to start hiding them and his hair was the least likely place that you would for them.

Simple commands that seemed like, at the time, were the only things that were keeping me going. I had to go. I promised that I would listen and follow everything they said, not only because it was serious, but because they were my family. They were my parents. I had to listen. I was still a minor, hell, I was only 12. And so I ran. I ran and picked myself up every time I tripped and fell.
As I ran through the burning city, I heard the screams of innocents being brutally taken from their loved ones, and the cries of the loved ones who only desperately wanted their family and friends back, who only wanted for life to go back to normal. But it never would, and most accepted the fact.
And so I ran. Ran for my sake and theirs. Ran in the hopes of being reunited with my family and friends so that I could live my life happily because they didn't. Couldn't.
I knew that I was being chased, but I didn't know by whom. I was getting close
